The suction system can be connected to individual shredders or shredder-baler combinations via pipes. The mobile suction system impresses with its high extraction performance and small space requirements.
Due to the nature of the material, dust is generated when shredding paper. The vacuum system extracts this dust from the cutting system and, in the case of shredder-press combinations, from under the conveyor belt that leads to the press chamber. This prevents the dust from venting into the atmosphere.
With intimus APU 100, the powerful fan on the clean air side sucks the dust-laden air into the extraction unit. The integrated pre-separator directs coarse particles directly into the collection container. The remaining fine dust is separated by the class “M” dust filters. A large-volume, mobile collection container is included as standard. Extremely quiet due to highly effective sound insulation
