The intimus HDD Gladiator is a robust and efficient method of destroying hard disks and electronic media. To ensure maximum throughput and optimum destruction, the HDD Gladiator has a double feed hopper with a split shredding chamber. HDDs are fed into the left-hand hopper with 30 mm blades designed for the destruction of HDDs. The right-hand hopper is used for electronic or optical media such as SSDs or CDs and has specially developed 12 mm blades for lighter media. The hardened cutting blades shred even enterprise HDDs, including the housing, into small particles that can no longer be reconstructed. The size of the particles corresponds to security level H-3 / E-2 according to ISO/IEC 21964 (DIN 66399). The shredded material is collected in 120-litre standard waste bin.
